Whether in an allotment, cottage garden or a few pots on a windowsill, culinary herbs are widely grown to enhance cooking. But common plants such as Rosemary, Thyme, Sage and Fennel also possess powerful medicinal qualities which can be used to help support your health in a variety of situations throughout the year.

Join me for this hands on workshop on how to harvest, store and work with culinary herbs as medicine in preparations such as teas, tinctures, oxymels, powders and glycerites. You’ll learn what these kitchen herbs have in common as well as what differentiates each from the other, which are best used fresh and which store well, and so much more. You’ll take home some herbal remedies we’ll make on the day, as well as a handout and plenty of inspiration for working with herbs in new ways in your everyday life.

Price includes tea and coffee and all supplies required for the day.

This workshop will take place at our new creative makers space, The Workshop at Unit 3, Home Farm Yard, Bruern, OX7 6QF.
