My latest wildcrafted soap is made with summer harvested yarrow flowers, foraged from our local fields. Yarrow is a powerful herbal ally best known for its ability to heal wounds and stop bleeding. (It's Latin name, Achillea milleflorium, comes in part from stories of Achilles using the leaves to treat his warriors wounded in battle.) It's also an astringent herb, used to tighten skin and blood vessels. This soap is excellent for normal to oily skin, though fine to use on all skin types. A combination of olive, coconut and sweet almond oil plus cocoa butter lend this soap plenty of emollience, and the amber notes of Indian Rosewood and Vetiver offer up a subtle yet warming scent.
Water, organic coconut oil, extra virgin olive oil, organic, unrefined cocoa butter, sweet almond oil infused with Achillea milleflorium (yarrow), unrefined castor oil, glycerine, sodium lactate, kaolin, essential oils of dalbergia sissoo (Indian rosewood), vetiveria zizanoides (vetiver), geraniol*, limonene*, linalool*, benzyl benzoate*
*naturally occurring compounds of essential oils.
